Project Design & Management

Welcome to the online learning platform of the Project Design and Management Training Programme for Professionals in the Water Sector in the Syrian Arab Republic, Jordan and Yemen.

The programme strengthens participants’ capacities in developing more effective and efficient projects to address pressing water issues in the region.

Participants – nominated and invited by relevant ministries – deepen their understanding of and skills in project design and management during this programme through developing their own real life project plan, concept note and proposal through a five-day training workshop supported by on-line learning opportunities before and after the workshop.

This training programme is jointly designed, implemented and organised by four organisations: FAO, IPTRID, GTZ and LEAD International. The partnership started in Egypt in November 2005 and further developed in Syria, Jordan and Yemen between June-December 2006.

The training programme is dedicated to facilitate regional communication, exchange of ideas, know-how and technology transfer.
